Diet Coke Limited Edition : Lovely Package . Curating the very best packaging design.

I love the Coca-Cola brand. What appeals to me is the sheer age of the brand- it has been going for more than 10 years. In that time it has been through its ups and downs but mostly ups and has remained quite consistent. I even have a Coca Cola iPhone cover!

I came across this redesign for the Diet Coke on a recent post in Web Design Ledger and found out that it was designed by Turner Duckworth who have branded some notable entities. You can check out their site to see some more of their work but be prepared its design is a rather irritating Flash thingy. Here are the pics, enjoy:

Purpose » The Armoury – Identity

I came across this design while reading  David Airey’s Logo Design Love blog.

I love the way that they use just one letter from this wordmark as their symbol. Innovative and something to be kept in mind for a future project.

Giving credit where credit is due:

Thinking out of the [Box] : Paper Artwork by Julien Vallée

I stumbled upon the work of Julien Vallée on www.webdesignerdepot.com. Its really funky and breaks the boundaries of the canvas by incorporating various dimensions (2D, 3D and digital additions). Apparently, you should be able to find more of his work here: www.jvallee.com/ but when I went over there a few minutes ago, it wasn’t working. Look for him on Twitter if you can’t access his site.

Jeremy Puren’s wedding invitation

I just stumbled upon an old Art School friend’s wedding invitation of facebook. There are not many people who have such unique wedding invitations. I love it.
